Sometime in 2012 my hands starting getting antsy. I had made my living in front of a computer for more than 15 years at that point. I needed to make things, physical things, and get up from my chair and away from computer screens. I decided to build a workshop so I could have a place to make stuff. I’ve never let lack of know-how get in my way, and have always relied on books – and now the internet – to help me figure out what I need to know.
I’ve been slowly making stuff, learning how to use the tools I had, acquiring a few new or used ones along the way, and attempting increasingly complicated projects. This blog serves as my record of what I’ve made and what I’ve learned along the way.
I’m still a long way from where I want to be.
